Alghero is always busy and lively both in winter and in summer with a number of events involving visitors and residents like underwater fishing competitions in January and February ending with the food festival of sea urchins.

 

 

Religious Easter Ceremonies with traditional medieval processions, the summer festival, from June to September with concerts and religious boat processions, arts and crafts exhibition and last but not least, the New Year's Eve with spectacular live shows.
