Agriturismo Costiolu, Nuoro

Agriturismo Costiolu is a farmhouse of more than 100 hectars, belonging to Costa brothers and working from many generations; it is located at the Km. 10,300 on the road Nuoro – Bitti, on a highland at 700 mt. above sea level, next to Lollove Mount. The farmhouse is situated in a area which ranges from Gennargentu park, where Corrasi and Bruncuspina mounts rise, to Ortobene and Gonare mount. A place which has been inhabited for more than three thousand years, as it is pointed by the existence of the nuragic village of ‘Su Costiolu’, framed among oakes, wild pears and granitic rocks (called ‘nodos’) and a scrub which slopes down to the ‘Sa Rubargia’ river. In this scenery, one finds wild pigs, foxes, hares, partridges, predatory birds and fine specimens of Sardinian eagle. The lodges and the stables have been refurbished keeping the warmth and the typical Sardinian domestic architecture. On the farm yard, the sheltered patios link the spacious dining room (composed of a living room for 100 covers, old refurbished stable, and of a smaller room for 40/50 covers, with shared TV), the pantry, the cellar and the manufacturing rooms. The rooms are all located upstairs: 20 beds divided into 4 rooms with 3/4 beds each and en-suite bathroom, plus 6 double or twin rooms with shared bathroom facilities. Further beds, with kitchenette and bathroom, have been obtained reutilizing an old round fold.

Children reductions sharing a room with two adults:

- Infants from 0 to 2 years old: free of charge if sharing the same bed with parents;

- Children from 3 to 8 years old: 30% reduction on adult's rate.

The farmhouse is located 3 km north from Nuoro, in the plateau of Sa Serra, 700 meters above the sea level.

From Nuoro: follow the SP 389 towards Orune-Bitti.

From Olbia: drive on the SS131 D.C.N. towards Nuoro-Cagliari for about 50 km. Continue on SP45 untill Nuoro.
