A soft white cloud that French Architect Jean-Claude Le Suisse has wisely blended from the sun's brightness and the wind's lightness where guests may enjoy a unique and genuine Sardinian unspoilt landscape. The hospitality is designed to suit different requirements ranging from hotel rooms and suites at the Grand Hotel Poltu Quatu and holiday apartments at the Residence Poltu Quatu.

The Resort offers an array of bars and restaurants, pools and spa, as well as an astonishing public area, the focal point of a nurtured village life of unparalleled beauty. Nestled in the heart of the resort, like a turquoise lake surrounded by granite and white stones, are the pools. The pools' sinuous curves as if shaped by the wind include a wading area for toddlers, with bar and buffet services at hand. This oasis becomes an even greater focal point of village life with live entertainment in the evenings.

Poltu Quatu, and its granite ramparts is the port of call for boating and marine activities. Sun lovers have private access to a  beach at a short distance from Hotel. A Minibus service from-to the beach is available. Winding through juniper and lilies you will discover this wonderful beach blessed with crystal-clear waters and first class service. Walking towards the promontory that protects the beach, a series of small bays, carved by centuries of wind and wave, a succession of singular and unique natural pools will leave everlasting memories.

The Spa is located in a refined environment where the body tones up and the mind finds its balance. Conceived as an oasis for body and soul, the wellness centre discloses a series of orient-inspired spaces with Turkish bath, sauna, relaxation area with light therapy and equipped fitness area. A wide selection of treatments include Ayurveda massage, hot stone massage, aromatherapy relaxation massage, energising or modelling clay treatments, draining and energy treatments, facials. Special packages are devised for every season.

20% of the total amount will be required by bank transfer or credit card at the time of booking. The balance amount will be settled on property.

No penalty charge will apply for cancellations made 14 days before check-in. A cancellation charge equal to the requested deposit will apply for cancellations made between 13 and 1 day before check-in. Cancellations made on the day of arrival, no-shows and early departure will be charged in full.

Grand Hotel Poltu Quatu: Location & directions

From Olbia airport or harbour: follow direction "Costa Smeralda" and take SS 125. After reaching Portisco turn right on SP 59 towards Porto Cervo and follow directions to Porto Cervo and then Poltu Quatu. Alternatively, to avoid high season heavy traffic, from Portisco take direction San Pantaleo and drive to Baja Sardinia. Poltu Quatu is 2 Km further on.
