On the west coast of Sardinia, immersed in a secular pinewood directly on the beach, rises the Horse Country Resort Congress & Spa, open all the year, offers to its guests the possibility to stay in 315 rooms in 3 different four star hotels and 58 cottages situated a short distance from the beach. The rooms, furnished in design and/or traditional Sardinian style, are equipped with private bathroom, hairdryer, direct telephone, cable TV and/or Sat TV, safe box (in room or availability in the reception,air-conditioning, minibar.

For sport lovers, Horse Country offers many sporting facilities: 2 swimming pools, a field with synthetic grass which is ideal for mini-soccer and tennis, a regular tennis court, table-tennis, an area immersed in the pinewood dedicated to archery. The sandy beach is equipped, during the summertime, with sun beds and sun umbrellas. Always in the summertime, many sporting activities are possible as well as windsurfing, water ski, canoeing, sailing. On the beach it is possible to rent rubber-boats. Besides, it is possible to rent bicycles to enjoy more then 50 km of bicycle paths around the Resort. During the summertime, it is possible to enjoy the activities organized by the animation staff: games, tournaments,collective sport lessons, parties and night shows in the outdoor amphitheatre.

The Equestrian Centre is one of the biggest horse riding centre in Europe, with various equestrian activities all with the assistance of qualified instructors to taste the emotion of a original an unforgettable holiday.

The Poseidonya SPA is adjacent to Horse Country Resort, it is furnished with three pools tubs for the Thalassotherapy treatments, hamman, bio-sauna, relax area and elegant cabins with the most modern equipments for massages. More than 700 square meters entirely dedicated to relax and wellness. The Congress Centre of Horse Country can host events up to 1000 participants. The full amount of the booked services will be required by bank transfer or credit card at the time of booking. Accepted credit cards: VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS.

Children reduction when sharing with two adults:

- Children from 0 to 5 years: free of charge when sharing the same bed with parents. Baby cot (for children 0-2 years not completed) on request at Euro 13,00 per day (to settle on property);

- Children from 6 to 11 years in extra bed: 40% reduction on adult's rate.

For cancellations made 21 days before check-in no penalty will be charged. After the deadline, 30% of the total booking amount will apply. No-shows and early departure will be charged in full.

COMPULSORY EXTRA COSTS TO SETTLE ON PROPERTY

- Club Card (from 5 years old): Euro 5,00 per person per day or Euro 30,00 per person per week, from 08/06 to 07/09. It includes beach facilities, entertainment and sports (horse riding excluded).

OPTIONAL EXTRA COSTS TO SETTLE ON PROPERTY

- Baby cot (infant 0-2 years not completed): Euro 13,00 per day;

- Small pets: admitted on request, Euro 3,00 per day (meals and care excluded).

Horse Country Resort Congress & SPA: Location & directions

Horse Country is located on the central-west side of the island, an ideal meeting point between the inland and the coast. The resort is easily accessible from the major ports and airports and it is possible to organise transportation to and from them for single individuals or groups. Horse Country Group can be reached on state road (strada statale) SS 131 by car and bus, or by train.

From Cagliari: On the SS131 from Cagliari to Oristano take the exit for Arborea-S.Anna. At the traffic lights turn left, at the banner, right.
