Villaggio Le Tonnare: Description

The Villaggio Le Tonnare is situated on the North Western part of Sardinia close to the suggestive Archipelago of Asinara, about 2km. from Stintino. Le Tonnare di Stintino is quite a unique property, being the result of the full restoration of an antique tuna factory, symbol of this coastal region for many years. Le Tonnare Village offers a beautiful beach of small pebbles and sand. The crystal-clear water and the mix of rocky and sandy seabed create an illusion of various shades of turquoise. Beach umbrellas and chairs are free of charge.


The restaurant Rais is located in the central building of the village, with a large dining room and panoramic terrace. It offers a continental breakfast and a buffet service lunch and dinner with house wine, water and draught soft drinks included in the price. The convenient opening hours of the restaurant, help to make your holiday stress free and the wine cellar (at an extra cost) will suit the most demanding taste. During the week (July and August), two special themed evenings, "Tipica Sarda" and "del Nostromo", and a goodbye Gala dinner, with a buffet of desserts and Spumante enrich the proposed gastronomy and add to the important programmed evening entertainment. Moreover the Grill-Pizzeria, situated in the old "Appiccatoio dei Tonni", also faces the beach and offers an alternative location for your evening meals (service available depending on favourable climatic conditions, at an extra charge).


Baby and mini club from 4 to 12 years old with personalized entertainment programmes, games and sports activities from 09.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. (excluding meal time). Junior club from 12 to 17 years old with a dedicated weekly programme.


Opening season: 21 May - 24 September.


This property requires a minimum stay of 7 nights with check-in and check-out only on Friday (shorter stays upon request).

Le Tonnare is located in the North Western part of Sardinia, on the coast near to the Archipelago of Asinara, in a natural amphitheatre of rare beauty.
The village is 2 km from Stintino, 48 km from Alghero and around 150 km from Olbia.
From Alghero: follow directions to Porto Torres and from there, without entering the city, follow the signs to Stintino.
From Olbia: take the SS 199 direction Sassari-Porto Torres and then follow the signs to Stintino.
The property is located on the sole access road to Stintino, on your right.
