Holiday properties are mostly concentrated in Alghero and Stintino, with a wide range of prices, sizes and facilities. Platamona, Sorso and Badesi are also well known locations with still a good number of properties to choose from. Most of them are near or within walking distance from white sandy beaches. If you are looking for a relaxing summer holiday by the sea, these locations are perfect. Holiday apartments and campings are equally available. A different approach to Sardinia is certainly the farmhouse (agriturismo). Don't get mislead about the location as some of them are very near to the sea. Moreover, the owners will try to involve you in anything that can make you live an authentic experience and even if foreign language knowledge is elementary, communication skills are excellent.
