Description:

This bike tour starts from the beautiful city of Alghero, cycling to Capo Caccia and exploring the Nettuno Caves. Continue along one of the  the most beautiful roads in the island, the stretch of coast between Alghero and Bosa, where a short loop will take you through the vineyards and olive groves.  Proceeding towards south, the route takes you back to the sea with a panoramic descent to the Sinis wetlands, where you will see colonies of pink flamingos, beautiful beaches like Is Arutas and suggestive archeological sites like the Phoenician ruins of Tharros. After a transfer to Arborea, you will reach the Costa Verde and dunes of Piscinas, the fascinating abandoned mines of Sulcis, the island of Carloforte and from here continue to the island of Sant'Antioco, riding through vineyards and olive and monuments of the Sardinian Romanesque period. Final catwalk of the tour is the beautiful Costa del Sud with its gleaming white beaches and unspoilt natural landscape.
