Description:

This bike tour starts from Montevecchio, and will enjoy you with some spectacular descent and ascent cross the Rio Irvi, the dunes of Piscinas, Ingurtosu, along old mining roads through one of the wildest and most remote areas of Sardinia. Back to the coast in Nebida, the tour proceed towards Portoscuso and the islands of Carloforte and of Sant'Antioco, riding through vineyards and olive and monuments of the Sardinian Romanesque period. Final catwalk of the tour is the beautiful Costa del Sud with its gleaming white beaches and unspoilt natural landscape. The tour finish with a visit to the ancient Phoenician settlement of Nora. Alternatively, if you are looking for something harder, climb the Sulcis mountains and ride through the Is Cannoneris forest along a striking inland itinerary that will take you directly to Pula.
