Barbagia is rich in wildlife and forests but doesn’t offer many accommodation options. With the exception of Tonara, Aritzo and Fonni, there are not many locations where to stop for the night. Farmhouses or agriturismo are really popular in the area.

Scattered in the countryside, furnished in a simple way they are generally small, featuring only two or three comfortable rooms. Their main boast is indeed the restaurant where they serve typical local dishes.
