Activities in Gesturi, Sardinia

One of the most important of which is the celebration in honour of Blessed Nicola da Gesturi, a Franciscan monk who lived in the first half of the XX century. In the nearby city of Sanluri there is a large event taking place at the end of June, Sa Battalla.

It is a reconstruction of an historical Sardinian battle dated 1409. There are many events linked to gastronomy too, since the area of Campidano is rich in agriculture.
