If you are into golf, the golf course of Is Arenas will not let you down. It lies within a huge pinewood and hosts a 18-hole par 72 championship course. In the province there is much more sport than only golf, from trekking to karting, you'll choose! Also, do not miss local celebrations like the Sartiglia and S'Ardia.

The first one is hold on the last Sunday of Carnival and on the following Tuesday and is definitely one of the most important event of the Province of Oristano. It is a horse joust, where knights show their skills by piercing with a sword or a spear a little ring hanged in the middle of the track, while riding a galloping horse at full speed, of course.

S'Ardia, instead, is similar to the Palio in Siena and it is an insanely dangerous horse-racing event celebrating some forgotten ancient battle and taking place every year on July 6th and 7th in Sedilo.

Another important event is the Corsa degli Scalzi on the first Saturday of September, when hundreds of young people, barefoot and dressed in a white tunic, run from Cabras to the small village of San Salvatore, carrying the statue of the Saint on their shoulders.
